Website

Orange Julius was founded by friend Julius Freed and Bill Hamlin. The idea started with Hamlin who, despite liking orange juice, could not consume much of it due to its acidity. Hamlin then tried to blend orange with select ingredients to lessen its acidity. His efforts were successful and it produced a drink that is both frothy and delicious, which Julius then introduced to the customers of his orange juice stand. The rest, as they say, is history.

Over the years, Orange Julius has expanded its reach when they became an owned subsidiary of International Dairy Queen in 1987. Having Dairy Queen and Orange Julius in one store added to the success of the already successful Dairy Queen brand. Today, Orange Julius still operates under the American Dairy Queen Corporation.

When customers visit an Orange Julius store, they can avail of the premium smoothies as well as the Julius Originals special. Their product tagline says “keep it real”. This speaks volumes about their smoothies and drinks. Customers keep coming back for the all-fruity goodness flavor that Orange Juice offers in every glass and it doesn’t hurt that they energy, antioxidant, vitamin C and fibre boosts. Whether you’re dropping by for a smoothie or you’re more into the classic taste, Orange Julius has something to serve you that will quench your thirst and satisfy your taste buds.
